Today I would love to share with you everything I know about best shopping place in Ubud – Ubud Art Market. You will find my personal “wish list” and some tips how to get best price!:) Enjoy!

📍Location: Jalan Raya Ubud No.35, Ubud, Bali
⏰ Best time to visit: around 9am-10am

To get the best prices, hit the markets early and ask for “HARGA” (price) “PAGI”, (morning)! Prices will be cut in a half or even more!

❗️Negotiate! Ask the seller a price, and then start at about 20% of that figure, working your way up in increments until you meet.🤝 (But know that if the seller agrees to the price you quote, it’s not very nice to change your mind…)🙎🏼‍♀️
💸 You might notice that if you’re the first sale the seller will go around and tap your money all over the shop. That’s all for a big luck (and sales)!😉

🛍 What TO BUY:
📦 Stackable Storage Boxes – they would look absolutely gorgeous l in your wardrobe. Buy a few (in the size of your luggage), stack them inside each other and fill out with your clothes to get them home.

👒👝 Straw Hats&Bags – go for natural woven palm frond hats that are traditionally worn in the rice fields and don’t buy more that 3 bags…please!😅 (My bag on the pictures costs me 13$)

👙 Crochet – as you know the most popular are still made from @andi_bagus, but…why not to buy one crochet bikini in Ubud?Just remember to go for one size bigger than you usually need.

👘 Cotton Sarongs – you’ll be overwhelmed by the colours and patterns on offer, but here you can find one for a very good price! Keep in mind, that you’ll definitely need one during any Temple visits if you don’t want to borrow one…

📦 Marble or Stone dispensers – I love when my home looks authentic, and even if I can buy dispensers in H&M Home, ZaraHome, IKEA or Anthropology…I always prefer to support some local craftsmanships and get a compliments about interior . You will find many versions, I took the most unpolished one for our bathrooms. P.S. Just remember – always negotiate!

If you would have a time or want to make a little break – find BaliStar coffee-shop with the most cutest animal Luwak! Enjoy a small cup and continue exploring the heart of Bali!
